Lerenes seeds are ginger-like bulbs that grow well in loose, sandy soil They can grow in semi-shade as well as in direct sun. The lerenes take 11 months to be collected. The lerenes grow in the lower part of the bulb (the seed) along the fine roots. This seed should be sown immediately upon receipt by covering the seed completely with soil.
